In those days I might have gone to the plumber's merchant and bought some thick asbestos cloth, which used to be cheap. It's a good job I was never in that situation

Going on my second ski trip in January and will be putting my boots in my luggage. However, I will have my own skis. If I put them in a big and wrap them in clothes will they be ok?

Any tips with skis on a plane?

Put them in your pocket, of course.
