He does realise that he'll have to have lessons on the school trip and he's got another friend who's of similar ability so he's happy. Saying that, he's got two more ski holidays before that one so he'll probably be even better by then!
If my son had complained about being bored on a school ski trip, his name would have been taken off the roster and he would be having 1 less holiday that year.
