No Tino thats a hangover
Myself and all my staff have not felt right between us for about 10 days. We have either a sore throat, headache, myself hacking cough and light headedness. Also upset stomach or nausea or sickness. We definately have something but I would not say any of us actually have it. Also the 3000 people we have treated with Tamiflu in one week, maybe only a couple of them really have it. I personally would not take Tamiflu, I would have to be really ill before I did although if I got a chest infection or likewise because of it I would take an antibiotic as opposed to an antiviral.

Right i'm back! My quietness was due to contracting H1N1! I would like to say its the most pathetic thing i've ever had, my temperature went up 1 degree and that along with a slightly light headedness feeling for a day or so was about my entire problems! Got realsied today (friday) at 6pm local time, 11am UK time! Don't worry people swine flu is rubbish!

Hi SWskier,
I'm glad you're back, and thanks very much for telling us you're absence was because of the pig flu. I'm glad you're better now.
And it's nice to know that the symptoms can be quite mild. How many days did you feel ill for, and are you still in China?
How do they diagnose it as pig flu?
Ally

How on earth are you meant to tell you have it, going by those symptoms I've had it quite a few times recently, particulary in the morning.

Ian,
As a matter of fact I've been ill myself for the last 3 days or so, and I haven't been out working (which is why I've been on here - in case anyone's been wondering).
I've got a high temperature, exhaustion, I was sneezing, and I've got a pain in my back on the right side which I think is in my lung. I don't know if I have a nasty cold or the pig flu like swskier.
I don't feel like I'm dying or anything, in fact I'm feeling a bit better now, but I would like to know how one can tell whether it's swine flu or not. The NHS website was no help at all.
Do you really think you've got it, or just a nasty cold?
Ally
