Ah, Dids, apparently, using previous posters logic, Hinterglemm will be the most useless place in the world to ski. This is because if you look at Iglusku, (a j2ski associate), and input Austria, Hinterglemm comes out at No 1, ie, lowest cost.

I have skied all over that area, Leogang, Saalbach, Hinterglemm, and I loved it. My current Tirol season pass covers that area, so I may just get back there this season.

Although, according to some logic, if the price is good, there must be a good reason not to go....

It was purely an observation, David. Or a question without a question mark if you wish.

Neilson and inghams were the particular websites that kept coming up with the deals, but of course you'd have to find an alternative.

I dont make these things up, contrary to the opinion you might try to give.

I have been searching recently for cheap ski deals, and all that came up affordable was Niederau!!!!
There must be a reason why its always top of the list for cheapest bargain holidays.



That theory certainly holds true for Les Deux Alpes!

Westendorf is much much better than Niederau for skiing, pubs, restaurants etc. It has 4 gondolas and links to the largest ski area in Austria (Skiwelt) and *almost* links to Kitzbühel (3 minutes on the bus from Kiwest run).

Just maybe doesn't get into the UK brochures so much?

Nothing wrong with a cheap holiday deal and if its to Neiderau all the better :lol:
