I guess the the average is around 5-6 Euro. Happy hours can half that and clubs will charge more. I wouldn't pay more than six unless i was desperate or pissed.

I will remember this for my next trip. I must have been in the desperate category. Both times :D

Please can we get back to obsessing about the weather in Austria rather than the price of beer in France. I'll be landing in Salzburg in 48hours and am freaking out about the lack of snow!

Mountains are looking very bare all around. Piste conditions ok, but more like late April than early January. Skied in Warth today, interesting little area, would be a lot of fun with a foot or two of fresh.

Well at least you won't having issues landing.

I think Tony 'friend'is stretching the truth for effect. As Andy O says it is not all expensive. I will be paying usual prices in val thorens on 18 Jan.

As for snow, head to France, plenty there :thumbup:
