The bird dancing on the table in her ski boots and bra in the `ice bar Mayrhofen last Feb was a corker. Sadly, no photos.

Fail

Love you too Tony!

You are totally right though, this site is great. I am a member of many other internet forums including another skiing one which do not have the atmosphere this one does. So much so that i hardly ever visit the others and this site is pretty much my home page.
J2Ski certainly feels like a family now and i think one year soon we should all have a family holiday together, somewhere cold and white but not beginning with N. ;-)

Thanks to all the members, especially the regulars that offer so much great advice that feeds my addiction....and raids my bank account.

Roll on 4th Feb, not sure where I'm going yet but I've got a green light all being well tomorrow! Woohoo!

I joined a few years ago when I found myself sorting out a skiing holiday for myself (as hubby said he could not be bothered... what??) so I got some useful advice about many things and also boot fittings, and have found some useful websites. I did have to have a gap year from J2ski when I had an ankle operation as I found it very tough to read about people's skiing exploits and expectations when I was laid up with a bandage like something from Wallace and Gromit - and then got DVT! so it is good to be back and see answers to lots of things and people sharing - which almost brings the atmosphere of a ski resort to my little PC on a dark January night in the UK! My hubby now wants to know why I am so well informed about places to ski in 2012 when we will be hitting the slopes together, so thank you all! You are strangers but really the friends I have not yet met! :D
Rather a bad day on the slopes than a good day in the office!
