What a lovely thread!
Sorry I missed the start by being in L2A and skiing for the week
Very poor internet so not been able to get on as was my plan, certainly no chance of any pics, although I haven't taken many.
This place (j2ski)has completely rekindled my passion for skiing since I joined last year and I know think of myself as a confirmed j2skier and total obsessive ski boar.
How many sleeps is it before Serre Chev in march????
Don't have my countdown on here but still 2 days more skiing on this trip.

Hows it going OA? I really hope you are having one of the best weeks of your life. Those sudden spontaneous last minute bookings often turn out to be among the best weeks you get.

Happy New Year - Auld Lang Syne by Sissel (Live).wmv
www.youtube.com
You can also watch/download this video on my website: http://www.ine-pps.nl/ http://www.facebook.com/ine.braat

My brother sent me this, it made me yearn for the mountains - it is beautiful but I think it sums up the reasons why we are who we are and why we need our ski fix in the stunning surroundings - enjoy - and Happy New Year!
Rather a bad day on the slopes than a good day in the office!

Have had my ups and downs on this site for sure, but I really miss it if I don't take a look for a while.

Don't feel too much part of the crowd at the moment as finances -husband has own business, kids at expensive ages, house move have, all meant I haven't skied since 2010 and I can't join in countdowns and current snow related convos. But I love skiing with a passion so know am around like minded people. Until recently we didn't miss a season and my kids were on skis at 4 and 5.

I too enjoy taking a peek at what's being discussed and rarely miss a day.

I waaay prefer this site to Facebook which I find rather inane to be honest.

Keep it up folks, it's great entertainment.

We did try that a couple of years ago, we got as far as deciding to go to Zermatt in January, then nothing happened.

But please feel free to try it again, put me down for 2!
