There are erotic (strip) bars that are run by dodgy characters. However they certainly aren't going to bother you without good reason - you're their income.

No, personally I've never had anything stolen from me but I'm sure it happens is what I'm saying.

I have not been to Glasgow for a lot of years since when the tower blocks were still in existence but I have heard it is an Ok place now, but Borovets I'm not too sure about 8)

We still have tower blocks, they made them look 'nice'. Pretty sure you could rent them cheaply, only 1 hour 30 minutes from Glencoe too :D

It's a nice drive to Glencoe, I'll have to find a job, too old to become a student

You should just become a ski bum, I hear Borovets are accepting video entries now.

Experience of all 'services' available in resort a must

C'mon you two, give MyB a chance, he sounds a nice guy, and he is a Geordie.

Borovets, generally good skiing, not extensive. The people we met were generous to a fault. Ski School standard was high. Main lifts good, minor lifts, sore on the bum.

Food less than average. Cockroaches bigger than anywhere else.

Did we enjoy it? We loved it. Would we go again? We probably wouldn't, but I could understand someone going back there.

Thanks :)

Stop hijacking my thread the rest of you! I looked for a Glasgow board but couldn't find one :)
