Ryanair have clear policies. Its all written down on their website. As for attitudes, they are not in business to win friends. I imagine that the number of people like yourself and Wickers who have a chip on their shoulder about using Ryanair and choose to boycott them is something like 0.something of a % of the number of passengers that fly with them each year so I dont think they'll be too bothered about a couple of people on a ski forum trying to start a small boycott.
I am sure those of you who choose not to use them have what you regard as your own good reason, but like I said, if you adhere to their rules and requirements you should not have a problem.

I am not sure what the exact policy is regarding disabled passengers, but the 1 person on my flight back from Girona on Monday night was invited to board the aircraft first despite not having paid for priority boarding.

this joke that came in my post this morning aptly illustrates why I don't want to fly ryanair

"A guy is sitting in the bar in departures at a busy airport. A beautiful

> He leans across to her and says the Delta Airlines motto "We love to fly
> and it shows ".
>
> The woman looks at him blankly.

> He sits back and thinks up another line. He leans forward again and

> Again she just stares at him with a slightly puzzled look on her face.

> Undeterred, he tries again, this time saying the Malaysian Airlines

We all know that Ryanair has no customer care and they really are the worst to deal with if anything goes wrong. BUT....remember that because of Ryanair you can fly from Ireland and the UK to most of the ski airports in europe for about 100 quid including skis.
Ok so flying is very different from 20 years ago when it somehow felt a bit special to get on a plane but its far cheaper now as long as you accept that you get what you pay for.
I hate bad service as a rule but I love that fact that I can get to the snow for very little even if the journey is a pain in the ass.
If putting up with rude ryanair staff means that I can probably get another long weekend on the snow every year, then I'm all for it.
When in doubt?....Flat out.

Again we still have a right to voice our opinions and that is what I will continue to do , maybe I do have a chip but I stand by my convictions because I feel I have been mistreated by Ryan air and I reserve my right to not travel with them and believe it or not I will not.
