I have experienced the bit where you have an easy run back to the resort and 'poop your pants' (technical term of course!) down the last bit, and so dread the end of the day! (or what I sometimes have termed a 'brown run' - for obvious reasons!)
Well that piece of humour was wasted, alright then how about Passo Tonale, very easy runs snow sure and lots of Brits, how does that sound

If you want somewhere that would suit all then I would recommend Cervinia as whilst there is a blue run into resort it can be challenging in places however you can easily catch the gondola back down.... There are some great wide and very easy blue runs. I learnt to ski there and would recommend it and it is great for the more experienced skier too.

Having said that, the ski schools were always busy when we were there.
I would go back to Sauze at the drop of a hat. Great fun place, and some lovely skiing to be done there, and more so over at Sestriere.
