For me, a decent price makes a good ski sock. And then once I've bought them I expect them to last for years and years as long as I look after them carefully. I wouldn't pay more than about £8 for a good pair of ski socks, so I should think these ones would suit me.

The OH has quite chunky calfs and struggles with getting on some types. Are there any out there that are made with this In mind? Last year there were a couple of pairs she could not get over her elephant legs!

I have had a similar issue Icy......
Gave these people a call for advice and they were very helpful suggesting which brand would be best suited as they are all cut a bit different.

I wear thin compression socks that are shaped specifically to left and right feet

Iceman: The OH has quite chunky calfs and struggles with getting on some types.
I have small feet and large calves - 21" circum, Nike do a range of footy/running socks that fit well and are wicking so low odour. I think they're about £8-10 per pair
