Snow falling in the Engelberg ski area this afternoon - just in time for the season's last blast this week!

Spoke to the tourist office and they say planning for all lifts above Gerschnialp to be open. Looking forward to it as it's a long, long time to next season.

Will report back - with some pix I hope - later this week.

What a great afternoon. Arrived on time, on a lift by 12.50 local!

No-one about, no queues anywhere, mild lower down, cold at the top, reasonable snow, no bare patches, odd bit of ice.

I think it'll be a good couple of days.

Nice one  I'm quite jealous as I'm departing for the UK tomorrow and I won't have a snow covered mountain view for a while :(

Well that was a grand way to end the season. Lots of uncrowded spring ski-ing to finish it off in style.

Still pretty cold above 2,000 metres with impressive snow depths. Looks like the Jochpass will be open this weekend and the following weekend - and the rest of the lifts open until May 10 at least.

Quite sad to leave the slopes last night; it has been an epic season - and here's to the next one. :)

Looks wonderful, can you leave your booking until the last minute, you know how fickle the weather forecasts can be )

Not sure you really need tempting bandit :D

If I book the trains today it is 35% cheaper, and even if no snow materialises twix now and then it's still gonna be decent riding up high.

Found a 2 roomed apartment with kitchen facilities for 138 EUR also which is not too bad at all.

Oh, what to do :?:
