My husband is, as I type, sat in the casualty department of our local A&E with our 13 year old daughter waiting for her to have an x ray to see if she has broken her wrist.... :(

We're due to go skiing on SATURDAY NIGHT.

Luckily only a small hospital, as I doubt even if not broken, she'd be out by Saturday.

So fingers crossed for a sprain.

Happy days!! I know there are a lot of arguments against wrist guards and wouldn't usually recommend but in this situation could they be useful?

Second vote for a wrist guard, this will take many weeks to heal, and needs some support. Nightmare :shock:

Dids,
How awful! You'd better wrap the entire family up in cotton wool until Saturday. But at least your daughter should be able to ski, with care.
