I booked an appartment in France for Easter (very cheap second ski holiday)for four of us. One of my sons has dropped out and the other is now saying he might not go. I need to arrange travel and am now in a dilemma, we want to take the snowcoach and need to do so in the next couple of days if we are going to get a space on the Friday bus. I can't afford to pay for the appartment and coach if it's only two of us but don't want to cancel...anyone got any ideas. Our only friends who ski are already going and have their own apartment booked.

My sons are adults and were paying for themselves. The appartment is £167 per person based on 4 sharing. If only the two of us go it will more or less double. Only paid the deposit so far.
Yes I guess the easiest option would be to find two people to go with us. (Although it's only a definite 1 spare place at the moment. Arrrrrgh!)
Amanda if you're serious there is more than likely going to be a spare place. The £167 includes lift passes as well. Snowcoach £144 return (from London) which gives us 8 days skiing as it departs on the Friday night and returns the following Saturday night.

Kick the boys out of house and home for ruining your holiday.
Heres the bit I dont get: there were 4 of you going, now only 2 probably, but you cant afford it if there is less of you.....???? can you shed some light on that please?
I assume you have looked into flights as an alternative.
Are you saying you need 2 people to go with you?

Its a difficult one because if you give him a deadline he might just drop out now- then you are stuck with two places to fill. Whereas if you wait he might decide to go after all.
Why don't you suggest he brings a friend to fill the empty place - and then get the money out of him asap!
