Its all part of it though, Bandit.

you're either cool or you're not, regardless of what you're wearing or doing 8)

But what you are wearing is all part of what makes you cool or not.

Tony, at the London show, we probably missed Fred Syversen on the White Dot Skis stand. This guy is 8)

Wickers, Fred Syversen is a professional Freeride skier. He makes ski movies for a living.

I realise that but I don't think he meant to go over the edge at that point ........ that is the stupid part.

You cant look cool in crap clothes. But then you are women, and what you think is cool usually isn't. Including hairy chests, probably )

Once again, I have to disagree with your first sentence and, funnily enough, I disagree with your last one too

Hi Ian

I have finally given in and will let my 11 year old daughter learn to board this year. Is Little W still asking you to learn? My daughter is a decent red piste skiier but I don't fancy dragging her around the mountain on her board if it is a little bit flat - this I have already told her. Now my 7 year old son wants to learn too  He can also get down any red run as long as he follows me. We have ideal family skiing and I feel like we will be starting all over again with the boards. Any other parents out there been though this?

I should mention that we are also all proficient slalom (mono)water skiiers and the kids swapped over to wakeboards last year with no problem at all. that I did not mind as the boat has to drag them not me  They have both also mentioned they want the soft boots that come with a snow board too

Any advice or been there done that apreciated

Yep she likes the idea of snowboarding and I have said to her as soon she has completed her third star which will be 2010 then the following year she can learn to snowboard which she has agreed to as
she is standing over my shoulder as I type. She to skis red's and is parallel so we will see how she develops in 2010.
