Think we've got a place just up from the tabacconists on the Ahorn side of the river, its an apartment that comfortably sleeps 5, has a kitchen etc and was only 602 Euro's so just short of £100 each for 7 nights...

Emailed them about booking, just down to waiting for a reply now.

Shame its 6 months away, cos am excited already!

Got booked up at Joseph Fritzel Appt. 5 mins stagger from Scotland Yard, ergo 7 from Moe's, ergo 10 from the Penken.

Flight from Liverpool - Innsbruck: £86 return
Accom: £94
Train from Innsbruck - Mayrhofen (nach Jenbach): 18 Euro (1st class lol)

Job done!

Many thanks to all who've made this possible. Beers on me (pref in Moe's) for all your hard work...

Added bonus is that we'll have our last full day as Saturday 21st - can't wait to see how noticeably emptier the piste's are then...

Just realised I never posted after I did the 'shoestring' thing... The idea kinda worked, the lift-pass was the most expensive thing to buy, although the dire strength of the Euro at the time meant we needed about double the spending cash than the previous time (went to the Spar down from the Penken on the first day and a jar of Nescafe worked out at £9!) We only ate in 1 night out of 7, hence not saving as much as we could of, but as per my luck in M, we caught the weather.

Thanks again to all the info provided by people on here, without you, it wouldn't have been possible. I definitely owe some Zillertal Pils out now. :-)

Here's some pics...

Board Park.

Halfway down the Ahorn Red.

Halfway UP the Ahorn Red.

Obv the White Lounge - weather was GLORIOUS that day.

Mmmmmm - Zillertal Pils.
