you can only mock someone if you get the facts right as opposed to making things up as you go along.

I have not come out of the woodwork Iceman. I occasionally check in here to see what is going on but only very occasionally. I have a life outside of this forum unlike yourself it seems with nearly 3,500 posts.

If you are not interested in my thread then don't get involved.

Really? Whilst this is not a comparative forum, I respectfully suggest that there are individuals who can both outski, and outboard, most people on this site. I, for one, have a good knowledge of several such individuals. Some individuals race, in Europe and America, both skiing and boarding to a very high standard.

I have put one of your claims back to some friends in Austria. It remains to be seen, who makes things up as they go along.

Idkwia, I have no doubt, from what you say, that you are an extremely high standard of skier. Much better than most of us, You have some good knowledge, albeit hindered perhaps, by some limited views.

You will be the first to know, when I get my responses from my Austrian friends.

Ski well.

Ok Dave, And what is the claim I made that you have put to your Austrian friends?

Thats a ridiculous statement. I have worn bobbles for years, often with helmets.

I think you'd have been more correct suggesting helmets and sunglasses dont mix, as my wife can testify having had a fall last week wearing a helmet with sunnies. She hit her head and banged her hip, and the helmet clearly proved its worth. However the big lump on her forehead came from the sunnies being forced up her face in the impact and jamming under the front of her helmet. Had she been wearing goggles she wouldnt have had so much of a problem.

I also think (banter) that there should be a law passed that if you wear a lid you have to wear goggles even if they are perched on the lid and not worn, as helmets without goggles just look WRONG -)
