You sure Tony? 120's about right for me on the piste and I don't think my arms are particularly long... (awaits comments from bandit about gibbons... :lol: ).

As if I'd say such a thing :shock:

125's are quite long, but it depends on what you are comfortable using.

After some fairly derogatory comments from a French monkey masquerading as a ski instructor in L2A in January about me skiing like an Austrian - ie; very upright!

And that I needed a wider and lower stance I dropped my usual pole length from 125 to 120. Just a couple of inches made quite a difference actually.

Oh - I am 5'10" or 177cm tall/short, from whatever viewpoint you take.

I'm 5'11" 125 cm suits me, always skied with that length never had reason to change, I don't know if measurements have changed but was always turn pole upside down and if arm was at right angles that was the size for you :thumbup:

I watched a vid posted on here with out music ..... a throughly great vid, being old I can't remember who posted it :lol:

There's generally a good reason to 'mask' the video audio with music. Here's one of me and the wife last summer.

You guy's are absolute stars, I watched it all through it was a great vid, you should not edit Mrs E's
voice overs as there was only one sh1t and she is a natual on film.
And for her efforts in tuff conditions and only swearing once I award her/you both an Oscar.....

<<<Victor mode:

125's are 5 cm's longer than 120's. You probably knew that. Whenj you turn them upside down and hold under the baskets, my arms form a right angle. So, now I'm being told I'm skiing with the wrong length poles, in the wrong position, waving my arms around too much, and wearing the wrong head gear. And most of this from a video? I've been labelled the Predator, an Alien, a back seat skier, and found guilty of skiing with WAIT FOR IT my skis off the ground - how very dare I ????. And now my chuffing poles are too long, apparently.

Anything wrong with my boots that you can deduce from a video? I suppose my jacket is the wrong shade of green, or my goggles have the wrong frigging coloured lens in?

>>> end Victor mode.
