You sure Tony? 120's about right for me on the piste and I don't think my arms are particularly long... (awaits comments from bandit about gibbons... :lol: ).

As if I'd say such a thing :shock:

125's are quite long, but it depends on what you are comfortable using.

125's are 5 cm's longer than 120's. You probably knew that. Whenj you turn them upside down and hold under the baskets, my arms form a right angle. So, now I'm being told I'm skiing with the wrong length poles, in the wrong position, waving my arms around too much, and wearing the wrong head gear. And most of this from a video? I've been labelled the Predator, an Alien, a back seat skier, and found guilty of skiing with WAIT FOR IT my skis off the ground - how very dare I ????. And now my chuffing poles are too long, apparently.

Anything wrong with my boots that you can deduce from a video? I suppose my jacket is the wrong shade of green, or my goggles have the wrong frigging coloured lens in?

>>> end Victor mode.

Jeez :roll:

I've a spare rope if you need it mate :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I just thought they looked long, i don't think anyone said they were wrong....did they?
I ski with 115's and you now have me wondering if mine are wrong! arghhhhhh

Depends on your height, you don't want them too long it might spoil those Go-pro Close ups :wink:

Size is not important.....it is how you use them!!

Why goggles and not sunnies in those conditions? ;)

Goggles are for skiing. Sunnies are for sitting around with a beer/lunch.

I did ski a morning in sunnies but went back to goggles. Cant deal with streaming eyes, must be the speed :wink:
Seriously, skiing in goggles is much better IMO. I used to think the opposite, but when you go into shaded areas you lose with sunnies.

Fair point, I ski with Goggles all of the time now (used to wear sunnies). I found with my sunnies I would get sore ears where they rested - hat pressing them down.

Streaming eyes is a big problem. Cant find a pic now, but years ago I used to have the sunnies with facbric sides on them....cool 8)
