Hey - I'm sorry about your son Andy - but after hearing Snapzzz's story I expect you're glad it's just his arm!
I hope all goes well with his operation tomorrow and he's back on his bike soon (well presumably a new bike!).

It's not his writing hand so no excuse not to hit the revision and course work for his A levels in a few weeks
I'll give him until Tuesday to recover
Bike looks in pretty good shape if a few pieces. Nothing a hammer won't ment !!
A Levels - oh no! Now those are scary
I hope he gets whatever grades he's aiming for :D
So sorry for your bad news you never know whats around the corner. I went to the most heart rending funeral last week that I have ever been to. Our friends 15yr old lad got hit in the head by a cricket ball at school, never woke up again.

Snapzzzz, I agree that the thought of it is gut wrenching. It is sad that we can even think that someone "had" to come to work even if ill. I hope there is a full enquiry and if anything comes out in the wash, then the guilty parties are held fully accountable.
OA, sorry to hear that about your lout. The good news is that it is pretty good timing, and he should be fully fit for the 2012/13 ski season

Favourite lout appears from college in back of some strangers van with bike in pieces.
Arm distinctly odd shape.
Wife and favourite lout of to A&E @ 4.30.
Poor little bugger (euphanism - 6'5" and 17yo), he had quite a good Easter hols planned which is all blown to pieces now.

We have tried 6 local garages to-night all have no fuel. We are well and truly stuffed.I can just about manage to walk to work, long walk but do-able. Hubby wont be able to work,he had windows, doors and a conservatory booked in for next week if he cant get fuel to-morrow jobs will have to be cancelled. Hideous at work we have a fleet of 20 vans to deliver and collect medicines for all our stores about 15 vans without fuel at the moment. Not happy bunnies at the moment.

One of our lads died when he hit a truck at 70mph, feel so sorry for his family.
The saddest part was that he called in sick this morning but somehow ended up at work. I really hope pressure was not placed on him to turn in, I am sure his manager must be feeling incredibly guilty whatever the circumstances.
Just goes to show how fragile life can be so make the most of it.
