i have always found 2 paper cups and some string in between works just as well. :mrgreen:
age is but a number but why does it have to keep going up !!

It doesn't work with paper cups, tin cans is the answer :mrgreen:

Ah, happy childhood memories of tin can telephones. So how exactly do they work on the slopes then.....

erm :mrgreen: in these modern days of 2009 this is what you need.

2 x beans cans, washed and dried (heinz works for best reception)
2 x lollipop sticks (make sure ice lollys have been eaten first)
2 x blobs of bluetack
some stickyback paper

take one can. apply one blob of bluetack to side about an inch from the top and press lollipop stick firmly to the side. cover in sticky back paper.

repeat above for can 2 and

hey presto 2 tin can mobile phone/walkie talkies :mrgreen:
