Theyve arrived!!! Girlfriend and daughter are off to Lancaster with 1 w/t and Ive got the other. There going to stop at certain places and see if they work. Funny as hell, picking up other peoples reception and daughter is howling and embarrassed that she has to get out of the car to test them. Told her its better reception if you stand on 1 leg :mrgreen:

Very true but theres loads round here. Just on to the bloke who sold me the w/talkies and i can send them back and he will replace them. So he says anyway :shock:

I think you will find that you will pick up other users even in the alps, it is normally short sharp conversations of " Where are you " " I'll meet you " when I use them.... :shock:

Unless you buy walkie talkies that have analogue and digital coding for the channels...like what we use :mrgreen:
