no_snow_in_swindon You may not need this but underneath the Planai gondolla at the bottom is a huge locker room. Was 1Euro a time for a locker which can easily fit 2 sets of skis, poles, boots etc. As you have blades and short distance from here you may not need it but worth knowing.
On your first day to break yourself in there are number of gentle runs around the blue 8 on the Planai with a nice little watering hole half way down blue 8 by the wigwams and T bar called the Marchenweiss hut. I daresay we will be around there for a livener on sunday at some stage.
Enjoy youreslf and by the way it was snowing today and quite abit more due before, when and after we arrive!! :lol:

Cheers for that. leaving boots and ski's sounds a good idea rather than walking to/from the hotel in ski boots. The Mrs says is it safe to leave then there overnight?? (i guess it is)
I've been checking the snow forecast daily for the last two months! lol
Seems to be a bit of rain at resort level tomorrow but loads over the weekend. Only 4 more sleeps. :lol:

Put it this way we have locked our skis boots etc in them for the last 4 years and will be doing the same on sunday.

that sounds a good deal. We'll have a wander down there on Sunday evening when we get our bearings.
might see you in the Marchenweiss on Sunday if i need a break. Sarah's gonna probably not ski on Sunday and just relax. She'll then ski on Monday when the weekend rush has subsided.

Good for her, you watch I'll be proved wrong now, busy possibly but there wont be masses around the Planai mountain as the ski school area for the resort is to the right of the Planai as you look at it between Hochwurzen and Rohrnmoos, probably not spelt right but you will see where i mean on the map.
