i am far classier, a bottle or 3 of decent spanish red, a warm fire and a good woman is more my style

Lose the tea tray, get yourself 2 planks and you may achieve all of that wish list
Classy and snowboarding don't seem to go well together!

I dony buy into this skiers vs snowboarders arguement. I think a good boarder looks fantastic. I was watching the programme on sunady tea time where the guy from ski sunday went around the world in search of the best places to board. Yes, hes all backcountry and bright yellow pants, but he does have style and he can board too. It looks amazing when you see really good people in powder and doing all the offpiste stuff. Personally, I quite like the more relaxed and individual fashion approach as well.
I wouldnt mind to give it a try one day.

Anyway, speaking of a good bottle of red, what is everyones idea of a good bottle of red?

Wolf Blass yellow label cab sav?

Chateauneuf du pape?

Siglo?

Farnese Multipulciano d'Abruzzo?

Zweigeld?

Give me any of the above, thanks.

I think Bandit was just messing, but like you Tony I dont get the whole argument either. As long as everyone is polite, safe and respects each other then there is no need to worry.

Anyhow, to the wine....my current favorite at the moment....

Castillo Perelada FINCA MALAVEINA Tinto; Catalunya Spain

I had a 2004 bottle of this is Girona a few weeks ago and was blown away, always been a fan of Perelada wines, but this was exceptional.

Tried to get a wekend at the Vinyard, as they have a Wine Spa and a very good restaurant, but there was a festival on and all accomodation was booked

Ahhh. The Emporda, my favourite part of Catalunya. There is a terrific wine celler in St Pere Pescador not far from Rosas and Figueras, and I have tended to drink whilst sat in places like Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc, and Tamariu. Truly beautiful part of the world.

Wine is where I really need educating. If any-one asks me I would actually say I dont like wine, it may-be that I have never had the right one. I will drink Stones ginger wine by the bottle but every other wine, get half way through the glass and then give up. Any suggestions, I would say I prefer white, quite sweet. What would be your suggestion, I would look so much more classier with a glass of wine than a pint of lager.
