So yesterday, I turned up at lunchtime with the lady, and took some stick from Mel & co. I just told Mel, the lady was temporarily replacing him as my ski buddy - she is seriously quick, can out-ski many instructors, and very stylish. Received a text this morning she was not skiing until later. Met up with on of last night's nurses ~ she also turned out to be a pretty good skier. Steady but enjoyable skiing ~ the piste was mmmmm quite fast.
Hence, I turned up at lunchtime today with a different lady. Told Mel this was another ski buddy, and he had better buck up. All great fun. Then number one lady appeared, and we enjoyed a group run. Left the group and skied 3 minute runs all afternoon with No 1 lady. She bailed out, and I continued, making my target no of runs, including assisting the Bergrittung with an accident to a 10 year old local racer. I have worked on many mountain accidents, but I still find dealing with the young ones quite upsetting.
Missed the last mountain top drink, but I was enticed to attend a 5.00pm village drinking place, definitely not my style. Having chatted in deutsch to Gunter, the young lady next to me purred that she would love to learn to speak German. Well, you know how much I like to help people. I gave her a phrase to say, which she duly repeated to Gunter. He quickly grabbed her hand. "What!, Now?"
Received a call from Jan Stenmark, so looking forward to skiing with him tomorrow. Pulled out the 2m K2s in preparation.

Will do, Caron, although he didn't turn up for our scheduled meet-up yesterday.
I'm feeling shattered this morning, so plan a later start. Yesterday, was skiing pretty well non-stop, for 8 hours. Had two runs down with Sepp Schellhorn, the head instructor, the fastest was 2 min 40 secs. I finished just 2 meters behind him, and he mildly enquired if I had a problem with my skis.
Straight after skiing, I was enticed by No 1 lady into Gunters sports cafe. One beer lead to six, and ................. dancing on the bar top suddenly seemed to become an irresistable attraction. I warned them that if any of those photos get onto facebook, blood will flow.
I texted the bar dancing my to my frau, she responded by asking if the bar was still standing!
Well, the Ibruprofen is kicking in, gotta get going.
Indeed... you will shortly be anointed official J2Ski Saga Lout of 2010... 8)

I think Dave is just trying to show us that there's still life left in the old dog
I hope I am as fit as he is when I reach his age, and still able to ski, although I'm not particularly keen on dancing on top of tables or picking up stray members of the opposite sex in bars :D
Keep it up Dave, it is very interesting (and highly educational)

Dave mentions all these 'ladies' but he hasn't mentioned their ages...is he pulling some young chicks or some old goats?
