Ski down what Dave?
Not any more!...
Planai have pu in a new chair that replaces the need for this T bar. I think they are keeping 1 of them though although it is just 'extra'.
In Amadé you only tend to get ques on the peakest of peak times in the peakest of peak areas.... Flachau is normally the worst.... but we are talking 10min first gondola type thing...
The Penken Abfahrt is (almost) always closed Dave, so its a choice of queuing 15 minutes-or-so for the gondola or taking the Horberg/Finkenberg options, followed by a usually jam-packed bus back to resort. Depends on the time you decide to call it a day, of course.
I think you'll find thats a no, Stewart

I accept that but having gone up on the gondolla you are still at the bottom of the pistes.Apart from Andorra at Arinsal I have never had to do that.

Have been to Schladming for the past 5 years and have to declare that there are a couple of annoying T bars required to get back from the Haiber to the Planai which is a bit of chore but do not let that put you off. There are four mountains that are all linked together. You can ski to the bottom to the resorts at all of them.
