Gar, I ski any length ski from 210s, down to anything that will fit into my rucsac, or that Easyjet will allow on as hand baggage.

In fact, my wife agrees with Bandit, that length is not important. :oops:

ut coming back to the issue, as you gain ski skills, you realise that you can cope with many variations of ski gear.

Except for slappy skis. Oh how I don't like those.

My two cents worth. There are two good reasons for going short on ski length (especially from a carving perspective), other than being easier to learn on. First would be to get a smaller radius sidecut for carving slalom turns. The other reason would be, to be more maneuverable on crowded slopes (even with a larger radius sidecut). Length is not as important as it used to be, for stability, because ski design has improved.

by the look of the ski it isn't a great off piste monster so maybe shorter would be better??

I agree in that you should sell them and get something you know you like and prob around a 175cm?!

But to be honest im 6'4" and ski on 179 Scott RCs, 187 4Frnt MSPs and 180cm Trouble makers which all all prob on the short side apart from the MSPs
