Just figured you would know being from Scotland what that was...a road that goes up behind my place, so much snow and it is falling outside now

Move along

One day last season we stopped for morning 'coffee' and between 5 of us produced 7 hip flasks. You just know when it's going to be one of those great days don't you!

Andy, what tipple do you carry in yours, mine cognac.

As you are well aware Ross, unlike most others, Scotland is a huge place. It ain't snowing in the east, and I need to keep it that way so as to maximise the amount of playable tennis.

Unfortunately, my co-players do not like to play on frost/ice/slippery surfaces, in spite of my implorings that their balance will improve immeasurably.

It wasn't until I devised doubles tennis, played within the singles court, double bounces allowed on the frosty side of the net, that they agreed to play.

Glad to hear that you have good weather though. :-)

Move to Edinburgh - it never bloody snows here. I want to ski down Arthur's Seat, damn it!

Usually a Single Malt, Laphroaig or similar.

We've usually got a nice line up in the group, sloe gin, rum, one or two weird liqueurs.

I was having some lessons several years ago in Valmorel and there was a couple of us with flasks in the group, one day we were passing the various brew's around to my surprise the instructor pulled out a beaten up hip flask of home made Genepi made by her grandfather, it packed a punch but was surprisingly ok.
