I am fairly keen on wearing my boots as well, and its not a huge amount of fun without a warm jacket either.

I'd love to see people running around naked shouting "Its alright, I have got my lipbalm and energy sweets....."

It could be arranged.

For your old boy in January, with any luck.

Long time back, when my keenness quotient was much higher than my IQ, skiing with a mate, off the side of a road in Derbyshire. Ski to the bottom of a field, skis off, then carrying them back up.

Just reaching the roadside, a car roars to a stop, guy jumps out, runs over, shouting "Can I have a go, please?"

I obligingly hands over my skis, he jambs his suede shoes into the bindings, grabs the sticks, and sets of down the hill, near perfect turns.

5 minutes later, he is back at the top, "Thanks" he says, "Gotta go, had to do that"

That, my friends, is a keen skier.

I agree with Ian, Hip Flask.

One day last season we stopped for morning 'coffee' and between 5 of us produced 7 hip flasks. You just know when it's going to be one of those great days don't you!
