You'll be fine, no problem at all.

Hi, you can guide in Sestriere as long as you are not getting paid for it. I always wonder how the authorities can stop someone effectively skiing with friends anyway. Hope you have a great time.

I can't really pass comment on those apartments as I've not seen them, sorry. From the information I've seen on the web I'm sure you wont have a problem. Bessons own a few businesses in resort and they normally come well recommended.
Andy - Thanks for adding your comment. |
Hi Bill, You can't pay for your ski passes online unfortunately however if you were to book equipment rental then the shop that you collect your skis/boards from is on top of the lift ticket office so in effect everything is in one place.
I'll be in resort if you would like me to meet you when you arrive and I can take you get everything sorted. If you were to book equipment then please enter the first day on the slopes as your start date not the date you arrive in resort. You can then collect your equipment from 4pm onwards the day before so you're ready to hit the slopes nice and early the following day. Hope that makes sense :) Just let me know if you need anything else. You can always email me at james@sauzeonline.com |
Hi Bill, I guess the last person you want to hear from is me as I run sauzeonline.com. I can assure you though that the site is legitimate and all orders placed through it are totally safe. I've been connected to Sauze since 1988 and run the site since 2005. Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions or concerns. My contact details can be found at http://www.sauzeonline.com/get-in-touch/ You may also want to check out my facebook page for added reassurance. http://www.facebook.com/sauzeonline.
Thank you, James. |
Hello Claret, having worked in both Sauze and Saalbach I can recommend both. Austria tops it for what I call true alpine Apres ski, still in your ski boots drinking mulled wine in the open air bar at the bottom of the slope way past dinner time. Its been some time since I was in Saalbach so couldnt comment on queues. Sauze however has a special place in my heart. The old town offers up some real gems when it comes to restaurants and bars. If you hit a lift queue ask for your money back, they just dont happen!! For more info on sauze take a look at my site www.sauzeonline.com It to has a forum so lots of useful info on the place.
All the best. |
Hi, you might want to look at http://www.sauzeonline.com/winter/es_eh1.asp
along with the forum postings on sauzeonline regarding ski hire. On the first link I gave you there is a reservation form that allows you to ask the shop any question you like regarding the equipment. If you do reserve equipment no money is exchanged until your in resort and you've seen what you'll be given. Paolo changes his equipment regularly so the standard is good. |
Good news on the snow front, must have been some nervous people around sauze with the Olympics due there in February.
Have you checked out sauzeonline.com? I'd be interested in getting your feedback :) PS tell Andrea James says hello |
