I looked over the Dogtag Policy recently. I don't think I will be buying it as they offer only 17 days (IIRC) skiing in their basic policy among other limitations. The major stumbling block for me, is the categorisation of skiing activity, which turns me into an extreme skier (yes really). Wonderfully surreal

I have never voted down a post, though I do rate posts that I find useful and informative.

Rose, one golden rule with all Travel Insurance. Read all the (really) small print before you buy. Some of the so called wintersports policies are quite stingy in the levels of cover, what activities you can participate in, and for how long per year
I get the impression that some have been written by folks who know very little about modern winter sports.

Ask Dave to sponsor you for a visit. Then you can do a proper report when you get back :D

Rose, when you read another person's post, there is a box bottom right, which says Rate. When you open it, there is a marking system available for you to rate that contributors post, if you wish.
It's not you being dim, far from it, this rating system does not get used much!
