You would hope so, but an experience of sourcing either Atomic B100 in a 24.5 or Head Edge 10.8 in a 25.0 in Engelberg was quite an eye opener for our household.
We did our homework before going to resort. The make/models and sizes were determined by Brannock Gauge measurements taken by an experienced fitter.
A rather well equipped shop with an extensive range of ski gear was happily trying to fit my OH into a pair of women's Salomons 2 sizes bigger than he'd been measured for. He's a bloke BTW, 14 stone+. Most shops had nowhere near the correct sizes, and would offer bigger, and produce thick socks for him to try on.
Filarinksis in Havant put a pair in the correct size aside. Supplies were a bit short!

These!! With the swallow tails please!

Oooh they are quite good value, when compared to the European opposition, for example, the Volkl Kuro:

Yes, I know they're not swallowtails, but if you really want some they have some Boheme skis in their product range.

Perhaps you should buy a pair and test them in the next big dump.

You can post your review as a true test of the kit :D

Do Scotsmen have shaky mouse hands...that's 2 of you to hit the wrong button. Or maybe it's simply the desire to go fatter very soon

from www.snowchains.co.uk website regarding the "Weissenfels new WeissSock tyre socks"

It is important to be aware that, so far, this type of product is not necessarily regarded as legally acceptable in European ski resorts. Therefore, in our opinion, the ideal solution is to take WeissSocks but also carry a pair of snow chains should the conditions or local legislation demand them to be used.

Why buy chains and socks, to me this would not make sense :?:

Ah, Trencher, it's true, age is a terrible thing. And it's coming to a place close to you, soon, very soooon.

Go fat, you know you really want to

Bandit, if you are referring to girth, then I suppose, its like my old school reports, "not bad at all, could do better."

Should you, on the other hand, be referring to skis, I recall trying some mediumish Fats. Couldn't get my feet together so gave up. :(

Dave Mac. The ultimate solution for you is........a Monoski. Just think of the advantages, always having your feet together, not having to even think about it )
