Hmmmm, you're just a gear head aren't ya  Pricey helmet. I have had my Boeri Steeze from Facewest for 3 or 4 years now....sooo much cheaper, and not nearly as fashionable...but then it does fit ) Tapps It's really important to try a helmet on, with your goggles. A bit like buying ski boots, so many shape variables! |
Hi Tapps welcome to J2ski :D Most big ski shops now sell helmets. You will need to try some on before you replace your old one. Buy the one that fits you best.
If your £15 one still fits you, why change? Blades...hmmm I would suggest renting, for the odd occasion when you get the urge :D |
PAUL CNG, Thanks for clarifying that, no worries, glad your boots are sorted for you. Perhaps a pair of Strolz next time round?
:D |
Double post....weird

I think that Admin Dave will be quite hurt to read that you think his weather and snow report service is pants. You could always try Snowheads, there is a weather thread on there that "interprets" the "GFS" whatever that is. |
I had no idea that Profeet could manufacture a skiboot from scratch. Until now I'd thought it was only Daleboot or Strolz that could build a boot to manage medical problems on an individual basis. |
Trencher has a point, but it would be much simpler for Souldrive to buy a ski of the correct length, and not bother with a rail system as they weigh a ton.
I have Railflex on my Monsters, by the end of a ski day, the weight is very noticable, and it's all down to the rail system. I would buy another pair of Monsters, next time with a flat binding. My OH uses Dynastar Legend 8000 with a flat binding (Rossi Scratch) mounted rearward for powder. He loved them off piste immediately. The 1st winter he thought they were a little like supertankers on piste, but got over it quite quickly! |
