Twas a little tip from cem, to take my boot liners out once a week and really dry them out. I found a puddle underneath each of the boot baseboards, so took to tipping the water out too  I just put the liners somewhere near (not on) a radiator, and they are all toasty and dry next morning. Having warm feet sets me up nicely for the day. OH's new boots leaked lots through the toe area, so he uses duct tape to seal it. |
He'd find it tough, he lacks the essential long blond hair and a nose stud for starters.

You can use Dampire Dryzone pouches to absorb the wetness inside the liners overnight. Alternatively take the liners into your room and dry them properly. |
I see that Tino was photographed doing what snowboarders everywhere do naturally  |

OH is currently in Vienna. He reports 1.5 to 2" of fresh snow in town :D
Says the locals are no better at driving around on this stuff than the British, despite all having their "winter tyres" on  |
Nah, but you have to talk to Tino on here from now on. I expect he'll be glad of another hillfrog to chat to

Packed and departing for ise's neighbourhood the day after tomorrow :D :D
He'll be in Milton Keynes apparently  |
Your Travel Insurance needs to cover hired kit, and your own kit if you have it. Check that the amount offered would be sufficient if someone stole the skis (worst case scenario) or buy the shops' own insurance. Do check for damage to hired kit before you leave the shop tho.
I lost a new test ski in a crevassed area in Zermatt in November. I got it back, because someone saw it and returned it, otherwise about a £500 bill. Not my fault, faulty binding brake, but the test centre would not have cared about that, only their losses. |
