That seems pricey. It's possible to get a day lift pass and plat du jour for 59chf where I generally go. Coffee is 3.50chf. It's a small resort though, so it won't suit a lot of skiers looking for mileage and piste variety. The day ticket is 47chf by itself.

Poor Wickers fancy having too much snow  8)
Get practising your powder turns man, can you not feel the envy emanating from your pc screen  |
Rose our household went through a phase of skiing road trips. We would book one stay, then make up the rest and follow the snow. Just pick a resort and call in at the Tourist Office on arrival and see what was available. Have stayed in private houses that have Zimmer Frei signs, at very low prices.
You could make up your own package by booking a flight and car, plus your 1st few days, and then use the web to book rooms ahead. We always prefer "low" season skiing, hate crowds. |
I believe that the Hotel Europe has Wifi, though I'm not sure that it's free. One way to find out :D

Some times I think you're just plain potty, you put yourself onto a cornice, with fresh wind loaded snow and in an resort avalanche risk of 3
But I am really glad you're okay :D So, what camera did you buy, and what was the matter with the old one? Seemed to work fine to me ) |
Super report Tony  I'm glad the new skis were fun too :D

Hi TonyCott welcome to J2ski :D I'm certain one of the Austria loving J2skiers will be along soon to give you some ideas, though in the meantime it might be a good idea to take your email address off the forum page, or you may get lots of spam. You could ask for information posted into the thread or sent to you though the Private Messages option.

Pabs Perhaps using an image of Rob skiing off piste, and just initiating a turn is not the best example.
AllyG He won't fall over backwards as he is still pressuring his boot cuffs and has momentum. I expect a video clip of him would show him extending and pushing his hips forward in the next frame. As I said earlier, he is now a BASI qualified ski teacher. |
