I'm trying to decide between North Tahoe and Whistler for this winter. If anyone's been to both - can you help me decide? Like compare and contrast :) What can I expect from each in terms of the mountains, general culture of the resorts and the holiday time?
Does anyone know of the best ways to get the ticket packages (7-10 days) for the holidays? Should I buy them now or wait a bit? What about renting - how much more expensive would it be to rent there vs. rent in the Bay Area and bring the gear with me? Any caveats that one should be aware of ? Thanks a bunch!!! Hey Guys :)
I want to try some new skis this winter. Probably will rent. I ski a lot of moguls, chutes and usually go very fast. Don't do much back country. Can anyone suggest a few mid to high range new carved pics for this season? Will probably ski in Tahoe - Squaw, most likely. I've never skied the North Shore, so am not sure what to expect. Any advice is appreciated. Blue skies/strong winds! :lol: |
