(But first in December 2009 was Christmas-flood and thaw)

Resort with a lake is Bohinj (Slovenia) with Lake Bohinj too.
Vogel ski centre is above Lake Bohinj (and inside Triglav National Park),
and from Kobla ski centre you can see Bohinj Lake too.:

Soriška planina ski centre is 13 km from Bohinjska Bistrica (Bohinj).
There is 1 double chair lift and 3 draglifts. The ski centr is
~ 1300 - 1500 m height above sea level.



This ski center is already in community Železniki and
on this region are Italian border fortifications "Vallo Alpino"
made in years 1920 - 1940. From mountain crest is
good view to Bohinj / Gorenjska or to country Primorska

Vogel ski centre is interesting in summer too.
It offers view to Lake Bohinj and to mountains.
Alpine meadow Zadni Vogel is within easy reach and
from Vogel ski centre forward you can go to Komna ,
Rodica or to Alpine meadow Suha too.

Vogel ski centre is above Lake Bohinj and inside Triglav National Park that is why snow cannons for artificial snow there are not installed / permitted. But, nevertheless on Vogel can be plenty of snow in March or April too.

First with a cable railway (cable car) 1540 m height above sea leve then
chairlifts and draglifts till mountain "Šija" (1880 m).

Kobla ski centre is above Bohinjska Bistrica and
the longest chair lift Kobla-3 has 45o m difference in height.
With double chair lifts Kobla-1, Kobla-2 and Kobla-3 you can go
on summit 1480 m height above sea level.
