It is looking like in a couple of days we will get a freeze, then another thaw, then a good dump of snow (if things hold-long term forecasts are never right-lets face it).

Any change up there? Looking for some cold temps and fresh snow between now and Monday to tempt me to travel up and pack the skis in the car. Otherwise my trip is going to be business only... :(

Honestly? Not looking good, getting blasted with warm winds, 11 degrees at the top of the hills.. snow meant to come in from Wednesday onwards.. looks like you may miss out on some of this..

Thats decision made then. I will not be skiing Scotland. How disappointing, but confirmation of what an unreliable place this is, and somewhere you cannot plan ahead for.

Take your Scotland bashing elsewhere, still plenty good skiing at Glenshee today.
great fun to be had on Glas Maol, Meall Odhar and Coire Fionn with some nice spring snow. If you pick your lines and make good use of Glenshees natural terrain there is some great fun to be had with lots of soft bumps and natural half pipes in the gullys. No queus.
