You might want to consider SkiFit8 or equivalent app. Seems crazy that people spend 1000's on the vacation/gear etc and can't find the time to get in shape for it. A simple test can you hop up and down 10 stairs under control (one leg, might want to start towards bottom of stairs for the downhill part). If not then probably time to start doing something about it as there is not long to go.

I walk past the torture machine (cross trainer) every day thinking I really should get on that and get fit (well anything would be an improvement).
I can see my house from here...

There is nothing wrong with my beer arm, it is my ski legs that need attention!

Just over 100 days to go!
A recap for new readers.......
This is a group ski/boarding trip to Alpe D'Huez on January 30th 2016 for a week,
Staying in the Hotel Christina, half board - which is right on the piste towards the top of the resort.

24 booked so far - with a real mix of ages and experience.
No first timers this year yet - but in past years newcomers have been well looked after.

A mid-priced holiday, cost summary on the first page ( https://www.j2ski.com/ski-chat-forum/posts/list/15996.page ) - basically; hotel and airport transfer then arrange own travel. People are flying from all over the place, coming by train and self-driving.

Rooms - I know we have a twin available and a single, female share.
Possibly a triple and a family room (twins and bunks).

If you want more info send me a PM.
