OK, were you to buy a 14 day pass, t'would cost 242 Euros. OTOH, a season pass costs just 290 Euros.

When more info comes to the fore, you may find there are a few sheckels off for advance purchase.
Your 520 Euro KitzAllStar is for advance purchase, otherwise is 585 Euros.

Thanks for this Dave.
We're going over NY and then early Feb which both high season (I'm guessing that's what Hauptsaison is) so I guess we'd need to pay the higher rate for short passes.
With the 14 day pass, do you know if you're able to split that 14 days over two split weeks, or do they have to be consecutive?
As it is, the season pass already saves us 100 bucks over 2 x 6 days. That's a few beers and creamy hot chocs sorted! :thumbup: :-D

I wish I could meet the person who first decided to strap 2 planks to their feet and throw themselves down a mountain

If you click onto "Dokumente tarife" at the bottom of the page, a pdf will open. I mis-read it, the straight 2 week pass is 270 Euros, you cannot split. The 242 Euros is 10 in 14 days.
So, at 290, the season pass looks better by the minute. Do I hear a few long weekends and a pre-Christmas getting thrown in?
This has to be one of the best ski pass deals in the Alps.

Dave is absolutely right about the Wildschonau lift pass being good VFM but if like me you choose to use the Wildshonau as a base to explore the wider area then the Kitzbhuler Alpen lift pass is better option & VFM. It all depends on where you are planning on doing your skiing & if you have your own transport.
Watching Austrian TV channel ORF [ski resorts panoramacamera] first thing in the morning can help you choose where you are going to ski.

I agree about the KitzAllStar pass, but this would cost Emma 590 Euros as opposed to 290. Having bought 5 or 6 consecutive season passes, this year I plan to go with the KAS, but then I may get double the time that Emma will get.
Even with a season pass, I did go for the odd day to Kitz, Schiwelt, Alpbach et all, and just buy a day pass.

It's going to be a great season, I feel in my boots!
Yes, the Proms were an interesting experience, not the telly bit, but the whole choral creation thing, within a 4 week period, having to learn so many songs, intensive rehearsals, (9 hours per weekend)and meeting all the stars, (who were very pleasant), together with the BBC folk, conductor.
The orchestra guys were great, full of fun.
It was really hard work, but very rewarding.
~~~Have been invited to join 5 choirs~ apparently there is a shortage or tenors, (whatever they are!) I can assure you my voice is less than average bathroom standard!
Thanks for all your help on this guys :thumbup:
Currently got a raging bad mouth, hence the post at stupid o'clock when everyone else is cwtched up in bed. Two pink pills plus an hour and it's still throbbing :cry:
Absolutely. The season pass is looking like a must. If only I lived closer to civilisation (and a proper airport) long weekends would be awesome, along with an extra pre-Christmas 'warm up'! DM you are leading me astray... love it!! 8)
I'd be well up for that but my OH would probably rather stick pins in his eyes than drive abroad, especially with snow around :lol: Mind you, if we ever manage to buy a place out there he'll have to get used to the idea )
Cool. A popstar :-) Can I check it out on iPlayer? It would be good to put a face to the name too. (My god I hope that doesn't sound stalkerish :shock: .)
:) :D :D
