Well done Geo for taking the leap .....and welcome to the dark side, where sandy beaches are just a distant memory :D
As you say about not believing you waited so long to book a first trip to the slopes, I have yet to meet anyone who hasn't been hooked after their first trip. :D
It's all downhill from here on.....in a good way though :D

Hi Geo,
I'm glad you had a great ski holiday. You'll have a lot of fun now, deciding where to go next :D
If you're already buying boots, then you're way ahead of me.

Geo if you can, wait a couple of weeks for your boots - we did last year and got 60% off in the end of season Snow and Rock sale - we looked just before the sale started and hung on and saved over £100 quid per set of boots and for 2 sets that was a big saving for both of us! We bought them in March, fully fitted etc etc couldn't fault the service we had from Snow and Rock and its our first pair....only downside we had to wait until this year to 'christen' them properly other than a couple of trips to the snow dome!
Happy shopping... hope you have a good overdraft )

I could wait as sadly my skiing for this year is over except for the indoor snowdome stuff. I am going to Rivington alpine in Horwich near Bolton and having spoken to them I have been told that they never discount ski boots I'm sure many places do but this place comes highly recommended and I dont want to get it wrong so feel inclined to go with a shop where many people have recommended.
