Is that the only correct answer? Am I allowed to meet up with my friends and enjoy sitting around a table with them for an hour or so?

Obviously I'm doing it for the benefit of people who take short lunches so as to get the slopes to themselves

I can see both sides, I do normally take an hour for a ski lunch I think the kids need that time to rest :D

We were so tempted to try this in Ruka this year........lunch at piste bar soup buffet 12 euros as many helpings as you want and as much bread and toppings.......pay for one and then the other person had the refil. Would love to have tried it to see if any-one noticed.

Would be nice to eat with the other half as opposed to after 8)

Die Gulaschsuppe. (feminine )

This is a Dave Mac lunch daily, is worth a full meal, and is best value for calorie replenishment. Takes about 8 minutes out of the skiing, and you can catch up all those that skip lunch quite easily.

Generally 3.5Euros in the lowest cost valley place, and 5.0 Euros on the mountain.

Not to be confused with: ~ "Ich mache aus dir Gulasch" ~ ("I'll beat the living daylights out of you")
