The skis were bought after a weeks skiing in Lermoos I paid the shop in cash cos they were new after my weeks skiing they gave me a recipt, I have now contacted them and they say they cant help they can find no record of the sale. (probably pocketed by staff and still on the books)

dale, contact a local ski shop or a friend with a business and ask for a 'receipt'. There are still ways...

Again a good single malt would go down well somewhere in this process.

I went to Colorado last year. Skis arrived there 3 days after I did and when I got home they arrived 5 weeks later. So don't give up hope. It's a pain in the ass, but they may still get there

Flybe are not helpful and be prepared for a wait! I returned on 18th Jan and had lost luggage as did 6 others on the flight. The suitcase had been twice around Europe before we got it back a few days later all battered. Now I have been waiting a month for them to reimburse me for the cost of the case (damaged) and a shed load of emergency clothes / toiletries which they agreed to pay for. Won't be flying with them again and wished I hadn't - Thomson chartered them. Good lcuk though!!
