Spoken to Flybe today they said they will write their first letter to me tomorrow as that is when it is 28days after receiving my letter of complaint,(they didn`t have the courtesy to even send an acknowlegment).I have asked them that, as I fly to France on Saturday for a weeks skiing, will they pay for my ski hire if I provide my reciept? and they said a point blank no. CHARMING.

Keep all your receipts for your expenditure incurred as a result of their incompetence. Check out

https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/csmco2/index.jsp

if you are still owed money when you get home from this trip.

Make sure you spell Salomon correctly on the receipt Dale!

Not making light of your misfortune; bloody rotten luck. I am appalled at FlyBe's attitude which once again confirms that going with these so-called low-cost operators really ain't worth it.

Best of luck - hope it all works out.

Had a letter this morning off flybe they have excepted responsibility and have offered to pay me full cost of £514.00 for skis and poles, but will not pay for ski hire this week so looks as though I will have to buy a pair on saturday in France or hire for a week a bit of a pain but at least they will pay up

SO NOW A WEEK IN MONTGENEVRE WITH SKITOPIA £395.00 FULL BOARD, WINE, FLIGHTS TRANSFERS, SKI PASS & SKIS & BOOTS IF REQUIRED PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TRA TRA TRA

THANKS ALL FOR YOUR INPUT ON THIS SUBJECT.

Nice one Dale.
Shame you dont have a chance to get some new skis before you go, but at least that money gives you a chance to get what you want.

Enjoy MontG. The slopes over behind the village, access by gondola at the end of town on the other side of the road, are WELL WORTH a trip up for a morning or afternoon. Theres a fantastic long red back down, and some interesting blues, if you dont mind long drag lifts.

If you get the chance, haver a day out in Sauze and also Sestriere. It takes ages to ski over, so you'd be best off going on an organised bus trip.

I think Serre Che is accessible by bus also.

Enjoy.

If you went to Hotel La Grange can I have a review - the hotel sounds a bit basic and I have picked up some bad comments.
