Exciting

Well, Ive almost finished writing my Thesis, just a few corrections etc (am I one of the only people who can say that they were on j2ski the entire time while writing their thesis.....maybe the distractions inspired me!!! :lol: Maybe I should acknowledge the site....I certainly got more advice off here than from my supervisor recently!!!!)

In the past month I've also got a new job, passed my driving test, and bought a new car (which I dont get till September).....Happy Days! AND its nearly snowtime!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D Very exciting stuff.....not sure its something you would all want to hear about in a thread though....but...!! :wink:

I just ate my lunch. It was a salad sandwich. Quite tasty.

Thanks bandit! Im counting down the days to my skiing holidays already....wouldnt want to waste any holidays on anything else!! :lol:

Well, my son passed his driving test this summer and has been working at Thomas Cook for 6 weeks now (nothing to do with my cheap holidays....) and next year he is going to the States for 4 years on a football scholarship.

I might be getting a new job very soon.

And I just booked flights to Munich for 26th December this morning, as well as car hire, just waiting for the people at the guesthouse to confirm the accommodation now.

Off to Santorini end of September for my wedding anniversary, and then a long weekend in November to Krakow, as I have been wanting to go to Auschwitz for ages.

My wifes best friend has breast cancer sadly, and is having her double mastectomy next week. The prognosis isnt good, so it kind of puts everything into perspective really, and confirms I am right to live life while I still can.

Oh, and I will probably meet Skidaddle for a beer or seven tomorrow evening.

I'm meeting Tony_H for a beer or seven tomorrow evening, apparently.
