Just back from skiing their for christmas and going again on 29th March. We were told that the weather is ideal then as it is warm but with snow, and i have to say we all got very warm at -5 when the sun is out. Good gloves is a must so if the ones you have borrowed arn't quite upto it look on ebay. Sun screen as all of our faces caught the sun and heat cream i would say is a must for those odd bruises or aches and pains, i shall be taking loads of tea bags in a little container as there not the same there. Look out for the Chilli Pepper cafe and frankies for lunch or dinner there really reasonable and good atmosphere, and the karoka bar on the right hand of the last ski slope, you'll think thats hard to find but it's a tiny place, enjoy and we'll probably pass each other or bump into each other litrally, grin :D regards samantha

I'm boarding for the first time myself this year.
Have got boots, jacket, etc. Hadn't thought of wrist guards though - thanks for the advice!

deffo the wrist guards, knee pads and impact shorts. I swear by my impact shorts and knee pads - not just for when you fall over, but for when your just sitting there wiating for your mates - they keep the cold away from you that bit longer. If your in a group you may want to consider walkie talkies too. Have a great time!
Not ALL boarders sit in the middle of pistes.....
