I just picked a few photos from the week including some buildings and the jumping off things that seems to happen wherever I go.

Excellent pics, looks like a great trip.
I have 2 friends living in both Dubai and Oman and I've been invited to visit - I sort of thought Dubai wasn't on my list of places I wanted to see but I might have to reconsider :)

I would go again tomorrow but I would want at least a month to see everything I wanted to.

The pictures in the wilderness are great. I dont quite see the fascination with the big shiny skyscrapers though. I never understood why anyone would want to go to Hong Kong for much the same reason.

What made you choose to go on this trip, or was it part of a uni course?

The Emirates Towers are seriously impressive, the mall inside is ridiculous too but I doubt they see much but Gold/Platinum cards

I fail to see how anyone could be unimpressed by the Burj Dubai, a building that is 818m tall  Nearly 4 times the height of Canary Wharf. Maybe the pictures don't give that impression but standing underneath it is an experience.

I have a friend that lives there so just went out to visit him for a while. He asks every year and I was lucky enough to have the money this time round.
