Thanks for clarifying, Tony,
I've been to one of those parties as well, and I thought it was kind of sweet of the Queen to invite a whole load of people she didn't know into her house and garden and give them tea, because she thought they deserved a treat.

I went over 30 years ago, and it was rather exciting then, because that was before they opened Buckingham Palace up to tourists, and it was a rare chance to get into the Palace (we walked through the Palace in order to get into the garden).

It was a bit like a village garden fete.

How much time did the old gal spend talking to you Ally, I'm guessing none, when I through a garden party I always talk to my guests 8) 8)

Do you really throw garden parties? How posh. The only thing I ever do is give our friends a cup of tea if they happen to call in.

Gosh I must be really posh......I do use Waitrose burgers and oceans of Rose, anything those royals can do wickers can do better, I will invite you and your family to my next garden party and I will talk to you.....unfortunately for you :D :D :D

I throw lots of garden parties, I must be posh too Ian. Well if BBQ and booze up qualifies then I am posh. I love having people round when the weathers good, my garden is built around an entertaining garden, I love it especially as I dont do the cooking :lol:

I always thought you were posh Rose, me I'm just a lad from a London council estate, all be it a south London council estate 8) 8)
