Sky TV in Aime La Plagne?

How about doing something completly strange, not watching any British sport for a whole week, emerse yourself in french culture for one week. :hunf:
Much as I'm a huge Rugby League fan, I can survive without the needs for Sky TV whilst on hols. That's the reason I go. No TV, newspaper, email or phone until I get back.
Good on yer

Superleague? What is this? Any way.............. not sure about Aime specifically but plenty of bars in La Plagne show Sky Sports. One in Belle Plagne seemed to, Spitting Feathers in Plagne Bellecote definitely does....and there will probably be one in Aime.
Bon. Allez!

Each to their own. If the Bulls had made the WCC I still wouldn't watch the game on TV if I was on holiday. I feel the same about people who can't survive a week without watching footy, having a sunday roast or a full english breakfast whilst on hoilday. I go away to enjoy the country, culture, food and the general atmosphere of a resort without becoming a stereotype for the English abroad.
I work long hard hours to save enough money for my once a year ski holiday and I'm going to get every pounds worth out of it.

I'm with both charlie and getjim on this one. I love being in a different country and experiencing that country. however...... if arsenal were playing in an important match (sorry, don't know anything about rugby) we'd be looking to spend 90 minutes watching them if possible.
I don't think that makes us bad people
