Streaming eyes is a big problem. Cant find a pic now, but years ago I used to have the sunnies with facbric sides on them....cool 8)

If you buy the sort that do not loop around your ears you will find you do not get that problem. I have seen some people that wear them on top of their hats.

Nah, I wear Oakley Fives that have straight arms (unlike Tony's skiing arms ;) ).

Not sure they would fit on top of my lid ;)

Look for glasses that have a rubber sleeve on the part that goes over and behind the ear. Pull that sleeve off and there is just a very tin plastic arm left. Doing this, I am able to wear sunglasses under a helmet.
because I'm so inclined .....

Doesnt the thin plastic arm dig in your ears/head?

It is wearing under a helmet that I get the problems.

They are fine when I am in my budgie smugglers on the beach

No. You can take any sharp edges off with sand paper, and if needed, reshape the plastic by heating it in boiling water.

Is your house like a little workshop in every room with little gadgets, hammers, duct tape, hot water, wax irons, shoe laces....
